International Conference Volunteers (ICV) – South African Desk

ICVolunteers is a dynamic international non-governmental organization that recruits, trains and coordinates volunteers with specific skills for non-profit projects in the fields of languages, conference support and cybervolunteerism.

The vision of ICVolunteers is to help develop a future where both individuals and communities can reap the benefits of personal commitment and free will. Through volunteering, ICV seeks to link knowledge with needs thus promoting a better, more equitable society.
Through volunteering efforts, ICV cooperates with organizations in the humanitarian, social, environmental and medical fields to implement projects and conferences at local, national and international levels.
With its headquarters in Geneva (Switzerland), ICVolunteers has offices and permanent representation in a number of other countries, including France, Mali and Spain. It was therefore fitting that the South African Desk of ICV was launched at the Volunteer Centre on 5th December 2006 (International Volunteers Day).
